More than 500 hours of training on penetrant and magnetoscopy testing
News: With more than 500 hours of online education, focused on Penetrant testing and Magnetoscopy testing, Punto Netto invests on its employees to provide itself with 3 new operators, ISO 9712 level 2 certified, to be used in Non-Destructive testing.
More than 500 hours of training will not only generate 3 new highly specialized experts who, at the end of the course, will obtain the second level certification for Penetrant testing (PT) methods and Magnetoscopy testing (MT) applied to Non-Destructive testing in superficial applications. The entire course will be used to provide a necessary upgrade for the second level for the other 6 operators belonging to the big family of Punto Netto.
ISO 9712 certification
The professional updating for the staff will concern both the methods of Non-Destructive testing in superficial applications. and those of volumetric type as such as Ultrasound testing (UT) and will be done in accordance with the standards in force, in particular ISO 9712 which, every five years, provides for the renewal of the licence for all second-level operators.
Due to the impossibility of face-to-face lessons, the 540 hours of the course will take place through online learning, with videoconferencing activities entrusted to the most important experts in the field of Non-Destructive testing and related standards such as ISO 9712 certification. The steps to put into practice teachings and methods will be postponed until the next months, as soon as government regulations allow the participation of laboratories and workspaces to carry out Non-Destructive testing in the field.
Punto Netto, despite the restrictions imposed by the Government, has decided to persevere in its mission, which is to have constantly trained and highly qualified employees, in the strong belief that a non-destructive control carried out in a professional way is the only valid instrument to certify the conformity of a product that in itself is defined commercially adequate to be placed on the market.
For this reason it's essential that all types of Non-Destructive testing are carried out by qualified and certified operators ISO 9712 level 2, who have obtained a certification by a third party agency, preferably an accredited one as such as Accredia, which for years has been certifying the quality of all the operators of Punto Netto.
